A process that works.
Collaboration that brings value.
A partnership process based on transparency, competence and real commitment At TSTRONIC, we do not stop at the quotation stage. From the very first contact, we step into the role of a real technology partner, whose aim is to support the customer throughout the entire project life cycle - from enquiry to prototyping to series production.
01
Transparent Cost Structure
- While many EMS companies present only the final price – without showing what it includes – at TSTRONIC every cost is clearly itemised. We break it down into components, assembly, testing, logistics, and NRE. This way, the client knows exactly what they are paying for and where costs arise. It builds trust and enables informed purchasing decisions.
02
Full Access to BOM
- In standard industry practice, access to the BOM (Bill of Materials) is limited or even withheld. TSTRONIC stands for full transparency – we share the BOM with unit prices, sourcing details, lead times, and status updates. This not only facilitates project control but also gives clients real influence over the supply chain.
03
Standardised, Comparable Offers
- EMS quotations are often hard to compare – each supplier uses a different format, scope, and level of detail. Our offers are clear, standardised, and decision-ready without the need for additional analysis. An RFQ from TSTRONIC is transparent and includes everything that matters – from pricing to technical recommendations.
04
360° Project Owner- one contact, full responsibility
- Many EMS companies pass a project through multiple departments, resulting in chaos and a lack of continuity of information. With us, each project is assigned one 360° custodian who is responsible for the entire process - from enquiry to quotation to production and delivery. This is one contact who knows the project inside out.
05
Technical Review at Quotation Stage
- TSTRONIC doesn’t just accept documentation – we conduct a technical review already during the quotation phase. Thanks to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) recommendations, we can prevent errors before they occur, avoiding costly or quality-related issues later.
06
Component Security
- Instead of risky open-market sourcing, we work exclusively with authorised distributors. This minimises counterfeit risk and ensures full compliance with documentation. We maintain traceability from BOM to finished product – essential during audits or claims.
07
Production Flexibility
- We do not require rigid volumes or 'stock' orders. Our processes are scalable, allowing customers to respond more easily to market changes and manage production fluidity. We can flexibly adapt to requirements without sacrificing quality.
08
Clear Collaboration Rules
- Where others provide unreadable contracts with hidden clauses – we ensure full cost and commercial transparency. Every stage of cooperation is clear, with well-defined terms of execution.
09
Operational Resilience & Business Continuity
- Reliability is fundamental in EMS. That’s why we have a business continuity plan, alternative sourcing, and contingency procedures in place. This allowed us to operate even during crises such as the pandemic and global supply chain disruptions.
10
Partnership Beyond Production
- At TSTRONIC, we don’t stop at quotations. Our process is an end-to-end service – from needs analysis and engineering consultancy to serial production. Others deliver an offer. We deliver the process. Step by step, as a partner – not just a supplier.
11
Cost Decisions Made Clear
- Thanks to our culture of transparency, we show where costs originate, where reserves lie, and what drives every figure in the quotation. For clients, it means better budget control and the ability to optimise without guesswork.

Quotation - Step by Step
Stages
of preparing an offer
01
Request for Quotation - Understanding needs is fundamental
- At the start, we focus on precisely defining the project requirements together with the Client’s team – often involving sourcing, engineering, and purchasing departments.
- We establish the scope of the product and service,
- We jointly develop technical assumptions,
- We help structure documentation – if it is incomplete or requires supplementation.
- This stage helps to avoid incorrect assumptions that could affect cost or lead time.
02
Documentation and BOM Analysis - looking deeper than just the parts list
- Technical documentation and the BOM (Bill of Materials) are thoroughly analysed by us:
- We verify component availability, check market status, MOQ (minimum order quantity), lead times, and end-of-life (EOL) risks,
- We identify potential technical risks (e.g., missing data, outdated formats),
- We propose technical and economical substitutes that help reduce costs without compromising quality.
- The goal of this stage is to ensure that components are realistically obtainable and that the project can be executed without hidden risks.
03
Quotation preparation – mathematics and logic, not guesswork
- Based on the analysed BOM and market data, we prepare a quotation:
- We calculate component prices using multiple supply sources – giving you access to up-to-date, realistic data
- We calculate assembly costs, scaled according to the level of complexity, batch size, and quality requirements,
- We take into account additional services (testing, packaging, logistics, NRE, etc.).
- The result is a fully transparent calculation with justification for every element.
04
Where possible, we present optimisation proposals – we show the options, you make the choice
- DFM/DFT changes (Design for Manufacturability / Design for Testability) that help reduce costs while maintaining functionality,
- Component alternatives – we indicate parts that are more readily available, with lower MOQ or a lower unit price,
- Production scenarios – e.g. different batch sizes, lead times, or interchangeability depending on price.
- This gives you a complete picture of cost options, allowing you to consciously align the project with your budget or schedule.
05
Final quotation – transparency without compromise
- Finally, we provide a complete and transparent offer:
- In the form of an open BOM – showing unit prices, purchase sources, and material statuses,
- With a full breakdown of cost categories: components, assembly, additional services,
- With a clear description of execution terms (lead time, MOQ, packaging, logistics).
- You know exactly where every figure comes from, what the risks are, where the reserves lie, and you have a solid basis for further decision-making.

Business continuity plan and alternative sources
1. Full transparency of costs and technical data
We provide an open BOM and a detailed cost structure, giving you complete control and enabling fact-based decision-making. This eliminates ambiguity and builds trust right from the quotation stage.
2. A collaboration model based on responsibility and continuity
Each project is managed by a dedicated 360° account manager who takes full ownership of the process from enquiry to delivery. This ensures a single source of information, greater consistency, and faster decision-making.
3. Operational stability and supply security
We work exclusively with authorised suppliers and maintain business continuity procedures, minimising risks across the supply chain. You gain confidence in delivery even in the face of global disruptions.
